Company types identify the main function(s) of a company and are used within assetXpress to automatically present the appropriate company records for selection wherever a company contact is required.
fmXpert uses the following predefined company types:

- Building Surveyor

- Installer

- Tenant
- Training Provider

A company may have multiple functions - use company types to define all the functions of the company. | | |

Define as many departments for a company as required, each with their own cost centres and account details.

Define multiple addresses for the company as required: for example, a postal address, a street address, or maybe even a specific address for a particular department (eg customer service).
