Henkell
Brothers are one of Melbourne's most successful property investment
companies and have grown extensively over the last 20 years. They
currently manage over 20 different owner investment entities who
collectively own more than 30 corporate properties throughout
Victoria. With the activity in the property market heating up,
Henkell Brothers reviewed the way the company activities and
transactions were managed and realised that although the property
section was sharing information the accounts department were
sharing information the two departments were working in an isolated
way and their systems were unable to share information with each
other. This method of managing the investments and properties was
leading to double entry of data and was a looming issue as the
portfolio would be reducing and growing in size over the next five
years and there was no possibility of the business being flexible
enough to meet these needs in a similar manner which would cause
inefficiencies.
Founded
in 1858, Melbourne Grammar School educates some 1,800 students from
Prep to Year 12 each year. It fosters excellence through learning
and leadership and offers an educational experience ranging across
intellectual, social, cultural, spiritual and physical
pursuits.
The School is organised into three campuses to meet the needs of the different age groups. The Junior School, Grimwade House (Prep to Year 6) in Caulfield, is coeducational with 680 girls and boys. The Middle School, Wadhurst (Years 7 and 8) and Senior School (Years 9 to 12) are in South Yarra and cater for 1,120 boys - day students and boarders.
Melbourne Grammar celebrated its 150th year in 2008 and in the same year, Lorraine Riches joined Melbourne Grammar as Property Assistant.
TCM Solutions (TCM) are one of Victoria's most
successful Air-conditioning and Fire Service companies growing
extensively over the past 17 years. TCM currently manage over 170
different owner or management companies who collectively manage
more than 600 corporate properties throughout Victoria.
With the activity in the property market heating up TCM reviewed their business processes and discovered that although the operations department was capturing data in their work management system, the onsite work reports were being delayed which delayed the ability to invoice or inform the owners and property managers of surfacing faults and issues.
As the traditional reporting process proved increasingly time consuming and with business expansion on the horizon, the decision was made to fully integrate the fmXpert management system with Destiny digital pens for all of their mobile staff.
